How it works here

No music, video or image file is stored on Tubidy. YouTube plays the videos and another company runs the converter. If a page of ours nevertheless leads to material that violates your copyright, a valid notice will be handled.

Contents of a notice

Email [email protected] with "Copyright notice" as the subject and include every item below:

  • Who you are: full name, postal address, phone number and email.
  • The copyrighted work, and the fact that you own it or represent its owner.
  • Where it appears: the address of each page on Tubidy concerned.
  • Your good-faith belief that the owner, its agent or the law has not allowed this use.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you may act for the owner.
  • Your signature, handwritten or typed.

What happens next

A notice that contains everything is read quickly. If the claim stands, the page or link is removed or disabled and the person affected is told. The files are held by other companies, so send them a copy of your notice too.

Appealing a removal

If you think something was taken down by mistake, send a counter-notice with your details, the address where the material was, your signature and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was an error. The material can be restored unless the complainant tells us they have filed a lawsuit.

Repeat cases

Persistent infringers may be shut out of the site.
